The SoundBomb Dual-Tone Air Horn is the cornerstone, a compact, light and very durable all-in-one horn that fits most motorcycles and offers an ear-splitting 120 decibels of sound, which is four times louder than even the best original-equipment motorcycle horns. To keep things simple, the DENALI SoundBomb air horn is built as a single piece, with the air compressor and custom-designed acoustic nestled together. And for the most common V-twin applications, where the horn is hung in the Vee, DENALI offers an attractive cover that protects the horn without reducing its prodigious sound.

We know that some motorcycles have limited space under the fairings or around the engine, so DENALI makes an alternative model of the SoundBomb called the SoundBomb Split. These horns are awesome. Loud! Scares me when I press the button! I only wish there was some quick and easy universal way to mount them since they're quite large and don't fit just anywhere...

I mounted the SoundBomb on my 2023 KTM 390 Adventure using the Denali horn mount and wiring harness. This horn is seriously loud! If it will fit your bike then do yourself a favor a get one. It could save your life!
Russell J.
This horn is LOUD! It has Denali branding on it but appears to be identical in every other way to a similarly priced horn on Amazon. I gave it 3 stars because of the way it mounts. I plan to put it on a hard use adventure bike. The horn has a single, stand-off style mounting point with one bolt that fits in a open slot in the mount. The entire body and weight of the horn is suspended in the air. The only contact with the bike is the 1/2" of metal that only partially surrounds the bolt. There is no way it will hold up to the vibration, impact, and abuse it will be subjected to on my bike. I will modify it and fabricate a better / more secure way to mount it. Had I known how it mounted, I would have looked for another option. For a road bike, it would probably be OK. Still an awful design though.

3rd one I have had. Easy to install works great. Quick response. Thanks again Mike

I bought this, the mount bracket and wiring harness. The hardest part of the install was figuring out where to put the excess wire. On the Pan Am the horn mounts pretty close to the battery so there was a lot of excess. I was able to tuck it under the radiator fan deflector. The rest of the install went smoothly, it’s kind of tight running the wires and had to drop the skid plate to get to the battery but if you can change your oil you can do this. Once installed I gave it a test beep and holy hell this thing is loud! I told my wife to come out to the garage and give a listen, she’s still crabby with me for not telling her I was about to let it loose! I have no doubt now when needed I will be heard!!
Terry E.
Loud as all get out--which is what I need. A bit on the heavy side, so your mount must be study enough to support it. Wiring diagram was simple, and I'm glad that a relay was included.

Works excellent! VERY loud! Was a little tricky to fit as I should have purchased the split horn but I made everything work. Only complaint is the relay should be a sealed unit, I had it mounted where water got in and it corroded and stopped working. Since it wasn’t sealed I was able to open and repair it.

Works as described and LOUD! Easy install with the bracket and proper tools. No problems on my 22' Indian Scout Rogue and fits right in by the engine looks almost stock which I like.

BMW 2014 F800 GSA - I was able to mount the SoundBomb above the radiator in the same spot as the existing stock horn (removed). I used the Horn Mount - BMW F800GS '08-'18 & F700GS '13-'18 to secure the new horn and then used the one bolt shown to tuck the whole unit in - it was parallel to ground as suggested. I added a small hole in the plastic and tie wrapped the horn on the left side. One hole in the horn mount is unused. Very solid, fits nicely, very loud - and not in sight.

We will see how it does when it is called upon in an emergency.

I installed the Soundbomb on a '21 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport using the Tiger 800 mount and Denali harness. It fits perfectly and has not moved and has worked flawlessly for weeks now. I've seen others mention it coming loose which is likely unless you use locktight on the threads during install.

Very good

Easy ordering fast shipping. The horn is loud AF on my bike and easy install with wiring harness I bought with horn.

So I bought your Sound Bomb and wiring harness for my 2023 Polaris Ranger. Dealer said that was the loudest horn he had ever put in a unit and went as far as to say “that’s our new “go to horn” for Rangers!”. Installation of the wiring harness and horn looks factory OEM! Love your product! Fits right into the front of the Ranger with all sorts of room! THANK YOU!!!
Michael G.
What a difference from factory horn. So much louder and safer on the road!! Easy install with plug and play harness I purchased along with the sound bomb!!! Love it!!
Chuck D.
Super loud horn that will definitely get an inattentive driver's attention. Using the Denali specific bracket is fit perfect on my 1290 KTM Super Adventure.

Looks great, blended in with engine, looks factory. Very loud.

really a BOMB sound!

Quality horn, bracket and wiring
PITA to mount on my 2016 BMW RT, but I blame that on the bike design. Only scraped a few knuckles; I expect the mounting is good for life. Wiring is quality, but not 100% sure my installation is safe from chafing. This replaced a mini, which I was surprised had almost worn through the wiring insulation in one spot in one year. I was much more careful with wiring placement this time. We'll see

Mounted and blowing loud!attached r/h side on Indian Challenger between heads and cylinders, (shovelhead style ) can't attach photo.
Looks and sounds okiedokie, gonna run it awhile see the results. Currently have three friends interested haha

Not sure yet
Well have the horn and harness. Hirn DOES NOT FIT 2021 Challenger. Horn assembly impingement occurs with faring installation and protrudes below it risking impact with front fender if front forks are compressed (hard bump or turn).
Harness will still require modification to actually plug and play.
When mounting and wiring has been engineered and achieved, and it works, I'll hollerat y'all.

It does what it supposed to do but....
If you are concerned about safety and care to be heard then I guess you can replace your factory horn otherwise I'm not sure I would recommend this thing! first of, if you care about the weight on your bike be aware that this thing weight a TON, I bought the split unit, the coil is just way too heavy, I also bought the harness plug/in, the Harness all by it self also weight way too much. Also, the anchor system both on the coil and horn unit are just plane bad design leaving you with very limited options when it comes to install it on your bike, I have a CB650R and I still can't figure out where I'm going to fix the damn thing so that it look respectable. On the box they say Loud I would agree, stylish? I don't find anything stylish with this piece of plastic, the real deal should of said Big and Bulky ugly and heavy!

Great Functionality-(Horn No Longer Has Dual Tone)
I have been using Sound Bomb on a '16 BMW R1200RT for several years and really like the product. It has saved me on many occasions from inattentive drivers. Recently I have noticed that when activated more often than not the horn will only have one tone, not the normal two/dual tone upon activation, thereby not being nearly as loud as when it was new. Occasionally the (2nd) tone may work, but not with any degree of regularity.
Other that having to replace the "Sound Bomb" itself are there any recommendations you might offer that would return my original horn to its originally loud "dual tone" sound.

Loud Also Dangerous ⚠️
I wish I’d seen these reviews. I had the Sound Bomb mounted per directions to my R1200GS. Super loud as described and hidden in the upper fork. It has only been on a few hundred miles and fell off creating a dangerous situation. Hope to hear from Denali regarding this but mounting design needs revision.
I. McD
Denali Compact Soundbomb: Loud but (dangerously) flawed.
Win: Delivering the ear-catching db.
Loss: The mounting. Twice this heavy horn has fallen off my R1250GSA during/after off-roading. Twice. Separate occasions. The first time the horn cleared the bike and broke off some plastic around the 'trumpet'. The second time the horn got caught up, dangling from the two wires, and wedged between my left radiator and the left fork, which meant I no longer had full control over the steering (could not turn/steer left). This occurred just as I was crossing a busy highway resulting in a near-catastrophic incident.
Solution: The mounting upside-down "U" on the Sound Bomb needs to be changed to be fully enclosed (captured) bolt pass-thru plate. A solid mounting plate with a hole drilled through it so that the mounting bolt slides through. Or change from a bolt and nut attachment solution to a welded stud and nut. Additionally, thread-lock isn't suggested, it should be mandatory for this part as it is subject to intense vibration around the front forks. Overkill but highly suggested option: Create an emergency short 'leash' to prevent a dislocated Sound Bomb from dangling between and wedging against the forks and radiator/faring causing the steering to jam (which will according to Murphy occur at the most inopportune time).
Grant Blewett
Very loud, easy to fit but not robust
Indeed the product does what it claims regarding being sufficiently loud, however even when using all the Denali supplied mounts etc. The design of the mountIng point is very poor, when fitted to a R1250GSA and taken off-road for a day, the weight of the unit With the added vibration breaks the weak mounting point of the SoundBomb rendering the unit useless after it falls off.

Scary loud
This horn is loud as hell. Especially when mounting and testing indoors. The wiring harness took out the guess work. My only issues is the the horn only blasts for about half a second. I'm not sure if it's always been like that, but when a car was backing into me, I was alarmed at how fast it went quiet while I'm holding the button for dear life.

Mounting weakness
Denali sound bomb is perfect for replacing the original BMW R1200 GSA horn. Everybody in traffic will be aware of your present and will signafficalty improve your safety.
But, regarding the mounting it could be secret killer since horn drop from my bike (althought correctly fitted) likely at low speed. Very bad solution for fixing the sound bomb. Need immidiate attention in improving it.

Nice and Loud!
Installed on my 2014 HD Sorster 883 Superlow. Sound is great and it certainly beats the OEM horn as far as loudness. I utilized the universal wiring harness and the mount for Sportsters. Only draw back was I had to modify the mount. The tab portion the horn mounts to is to tall, I had to remove 1/2" of metal so it didn't bump into fuel tank. I also had to bend the tab back a bit to keep the back of horn from riding against the front cylinder. As for the wiring harness it worked fine, just the instructions indicate there was a red wire for the positive connection to the OEM horn positive wire. There wasn't a red wire it was/is yellow. Overall, I'm very happy with the horn itself!

As Advertised
Mounted the SoundBomb on my Guzzi 1200 Sport using the plug and play harness. This thing will get the attention of those gadget-distracted drivers out to kill you - IT IS LOUD! Installation was a breeze thanks to the harness, and it looks good.
I highly recommend the Denali SoundBomb and the plug and play harness.

Lot of noise for fifty bucks...
Installed the Soundbomb on my 1993 BMW K75, fit nicely on the factory mount. The sound is amazing, much louder than the stock horn. This is what is needed during rush-hour traffic, where the stock horn didn't have much effect...
