CANsmart™ Controller for Triumph Tiger 1200 and 900 Series

Harness the flexibility and intelligence of your motorcycle's CANbus electrical system to make installation of accessories drastically easier with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart Controller GEN II.

The DENALI CANsmart Controller provides plug-n-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled right from your hand controls or the CANsmart Accessory Manager Software. 

The CANsmart's four circuits are preprogrammed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI 2.0 lights, a SoundBomb horn, and our B6 auxiliary brake light. 

Features

  • High/Low Sync - Set auxiliary lights to switch between a programmable high/low setting with the factory high beam switch.
  • ON/OFF and Dim - Independently control two sets of lights ON/OFF and change intensity level (for both day and night) right from your original vehicle switches.
  • Modulate Lights - Set auxiliary lights to modulate to increase your visibility to other motorists.
  • Flash to Pass - Need to get someone's attention? Pulse your high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will strobe three times fast.
  • Cancel With Turn Signal - This feature cancels the corresponding auxiliary light when you turn your turn signal on preventing powerful auxiliary lights from overpowering your signal.
  • Inverse Flashing With Hazards - This features flashes your auxiliary lights inversely to your hazard lights, increasing visibility during road side emergency's. 
  • Plug & Play Horn Installation - Quickly and easily connect high power aftermarket horns like our SoundBomb without having to add an additional harness or relay.
  • Strobe with Horn - With this feature selected the CANsmart software will automatically strobe your auxiliary lights when you sound your horn. This feature works whether you have the factory horn or SoundBomb horn installed.
  • Deceleration Activated "Smart Brake" Technology - The CANsmart reads vehicle speed in real time to activate your auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you even touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake Feature will activate.
  • Flash Pattern Braking - The CANsmart™ provides four different flash patterns that make our super bright auxiliary brake lights even noticeable to motorists behind you. You can set auxiliary brake lights to only flash under hard braking, flash continuously as your brake is applied or flash four times rapidly then hold steady (California legal flash rate).
  • Circuit Function Selector - The Circuit Function Selector in the CANsmart software will let you run any accessory of your choice on any of the four circuits. Click on a circuit icon to open the drop down menu and make your selection from the list of available circuit functions.
  • Switched Power Source - The CANsmart™ provides a universal "accessory" option which simply gives you clean switched 12V power. That means whatever accessory you connect to this circuit will turn on and off with your ignition.
  • Delay Time Out - You can also set the accessories on this circuit to have a delayed time out. This will keep them powered for up to 30 seconds after your turn off your bike.
  • On Board Power - The "accessory" circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated gear or any other electronic device.

    Excellent product. Plug and play with full programability. I have already noticed that I am much more visible on the road with my Tiger 900 GT. If you are considering this product, think no more just buy it. You will not be dissatisfied. Ride on !!

    I've been a long time customer of Denali products and this is my first experience with a CANsmart Controller. Like all of Denali products, the installation was super easy and clean. I have D3 Spots paired on one channel and D3 Fogs on separate circuits to match with the turn signals. The final channel is dedicated to the B6 stop lights. Configuration was intuitive and easy.

    CANsmart™ Controller GEN II - Triumph Tiger 1200 and 900 Series

    The BIGGEST hurdle to this CANsmart controller install was the CANsmart Accessory Manager app. After the download, this app would not load on my Microsoft Surface (Windows 11) laptop. It wasn't until I used the Windows 10 Compatibility Mode that the CANsmart app finally loaded and I was able to connect and control the CANsmart controller. I have no clue as to why. Otherwise, I installed the CANsmart controller on my Tiger 900 RP to "grow into". Currently I connected my GPS device to the CANsmart, primarily to provide a switched power source, and I'm looking forward to adding D7 Pro Multibeam pods and rear T3-S smart tail lights.

    Made install a breeze!! I didn't know that I needed it at the time I placed my order. I've been a bagger rider for 40 + years. My Triumph tiger is a big change for me and the Denali team is making it easy for this old dog to learn a new trick!! Thanks for all the great advice!!

    CANsmart™ Controller GEN II - Triumph Tiger 1200 and 900 Series

    Stupid simple install on my '23 900 GT. So far I have a set of S4's, and a B6 hooked up. All work as indicated. Love the dim up/down on the S4's. Dont have a computer to do fine tuning on the unit, but its really not needed as Denali has the defaults right where I'd want them. Next to install is the Soundbomb horn and that should do it.

    CANsmart™ Controller GEN II - Triumph Tiger 1200 and 900 Series

    Feels really well made. Wires feel well protected and are potted as they exit the body of the device. Install was easy, except for finding room for all the wires. Easy enough to program, though I thought I'd have ability to set timer to allow bike to run a bit before supplying voltage. Not able to do that for my GPS.
