    Kawasaki KLR650 Lighting & Accessories

Kawasaki’s evergreen KLR650 made a triumphant return to the marketplace for the 2022 model year. To say the previous KLR650 was the undisputed king of middleweight, single-cylinder adventure touring-slash-dual sport bikes is like saying Jerry Seinfeld is sort of funny and Wayne Rainey was a pretty good motorcycle racer. KLR owners often referred to the machine as the cockroach of ADV rides—everywhere you look and hard to kill. With the MY2022 redesign, Kawasaki’s added electronic fuel injection, made anti-lock brakes available, fitted new bodywork, and gave the 650 a new, up-to-date instrument cluster.

While DENALI is spooling up for the latest model, rest assured it makes a huge range of products for the previous generation, which ran from 2008 to 2018. As with many motorcycle models, DENALI builds bike-specific LED light mounts. The standard Driving Light Mount is made of durable powder-coated steel and bolts to the Kawasaki’s fairing support just under the headlight. With this mount, you can carry any of DENALI’s intensely bright LED driving lights. Which should you choose? For the ultimate in beam distance, there’s the DENALI D7, which puts out more than 15,000 lumens with two lamp pods that have a total of 14 Cree LEDs of 10 watts each. The optics provide night-penetrating distance along with a broad beam of light in front of the motorcycle. You could also choose the four-LED D4, which includes interchangeable lenses for Spot, Spot-Hybrid, or True-Hybrid beam patterns.

DENALI also makes a special high mount that allows a smaller set of lights (the DENALI S4, DM, or D2) to be mounted on the upper part of the fixed fairing. And you can, of course, mix and match any of DENALI’s clamp mounts to put lights where you wan them most, on the crashbar, fork tube, wherever. Plus, DENALI’s innovative DRL conspicuity lights can be mounted to the KLR’s fender, while there’s plenty of room on the Kawi’s rump for one or even a pair of DENALI B6 dual-intensity tail lights. Add a set of the T3 turnsignal/running lights and you can make your KLR into a veritable Christmas tree.

DENALI’s SoundBomb, louder than a freight train and more effective in getting a driver’s attention, can be mounted to this generation of the KLR650 with a custom mount.
