Suzuki KingQuad ATV

Suzuki rocked the motorsports industry in 1982 with the introduction of their QuadRunner 125, the world’s first four-wheeled ATV.

Previously, ATVs had three wheels and were commonly known as ATC’s — All-Terrain Cycles. They were popular for recreation, but not very… shall we say, stable? In the gas crisis of the late 1970s, more and more customers began purchasing ATCs for commercial and agricultural use, recognizing that they were far more fuel-efficient than tractors and could be ridden just about anywhere. As more and more customers were crashing their tipsy three-wheelers, demand grew for a sturdy ATV that could be used for work and play alike. Suzuki was the first to rise to the challenge, bringing their QuadRunner 125 to market in 1982 and changing the off-road powersports industry forever.

Today, Suzuki continues that tradition of ATV innovation with their KingQuad 400, KingQuad 500, and KingQuad 750 series, all assembled in the USA. KingQuads are available in a wide range of trim packages to suit any rider’s needs — whether it’s hunting on the KingQuad 750AXi Power Steering SE Camo, hauling a trailer load of hay bails with the KingQuad 500AXi SE Power Steering Rugged Package, or exploring the backcountry on a KingQuad 400ASi Plus.

Suzuki brought high quality stock lighting to the KingQuad series, including a handlebar-mounted headlight on the 500 and 750 models, as well as two body-mounted headlights, switchable between high and low beam. But a stock ATV is like a blank canvas, each ATV owner a painter. Your KingQuad is yours to customize, to make your own, and DENALI is here to help.

The front rack or brush guard of your KingQuad is the perfect place to mount one of DENALI’s many LED lighting kits, like the DENALI D7 — an incredibly bright pair of round-format lights that are perfect for use as driving lights or work lights. A pair of D7 auxiliary lights contain a total of 14 10-watt Cree LEDs. As work lights or auxiliary driving lights for your KingQuad, the DENALI D7 can’t be beat  — for real! At 15,330 lumens per pair, these are the absolute brightest lights under 4.5” on the market. They install easily using the included powersports wiring harness, and with DataDim™ Technology, the simple addition of a plug-and-play DataDim™ Controller allows you to switch your D7s between high- and low-intensity using your KingQuad’s stock high-beam switch. What’s more, the included TriOptic™ Lens System allows you to choose between spot, flood, and hybrid beam patterns for each D7 pod.

The DENALI S4 LED lighting kit is an excellent option for the budget conscious KingQuad owner, with its square format housing containing four ultra-bright LEDs per light. The pair puts out a brilliant 6132 lumens, and the fixed TrueHybrid lens — spot and flood patterns in one unit! — means there are fewer interchangeable components, keeping the cost down.

For KingQuad riders who prefer more customizability, the DENALI D4 is a square-format light that houses the same ultra-bright LEDs as the S4, but includes DENALI’s interchangeable TriOptic™ Lens System. E-Mark Certified Spot, Flood, and Hybrid lenses are included for each D4 pod, and the lens you choose is held firmly in place with a corrosion-resistant ImpactPC™ Polycarbonate Bezel.

DENALI also offers a collection of sleek, flush-mountable lights, perfect for bringing extra light to the front and back of your KingQuad. The B6 LED Brake Light is a slim, ultra-bright brake light that’s available as a single unit or a pair. The flush-mounted DRL Visibility Kit brings one or two ultra-bright white or amber LED strips to the front of your KingQuad, providing maximum visibility to oncoming riders. To help you reverse your KingQuad with ease, the DENALI Dual LED Backup Lighting Kit can be flush-mounted to the rear of your ATV for a brilliant splash of extra illumination.

Durability is paramount for DENALI Electronics. If you ride a KingQuad the way ATVs were built to be ridden, any auxiliary lighting you install will be exposed to all kinds of weather and terrain. That’s why DENALI lighting kits use ImpactPC™ Polycarbonate Bezels, which resist cracking, fading, and corrosion far more effectively than the aluminum bezels commonly found on budget LED lights. Every DENALI LED lighting kit utilizes DrySeal™ Submersible Waterproof housings and switches to ensure that rain, snow, mud, water crossings, and humidity will never harm your light output. And with LiveActive™ Active Thermal Management technology, you won’t have to worry about light fade due to overheating ever again.

DENALI offers a wide selection of ATV mounting hardware to make it as easy as possible to install our LED lighting kits on your KingQuad. Options include articulating bar clamps built from black anodized billet aluminum, perfect for mounting a pair of S4, D4, or D7 lights to your front or rear rack or brush guard. Straight brackets and L-brackets, made from powder-coated steel, are also available, as well as straight and L-shaped bolt mounts.

Your Suzuki KingQuad ATV can take you just about anywhere. DENALI is here to light the way.
