Love these lights! The quality is off the charts! I would definitely recommend getting the wire diagram for your specific bike before tapping into any wires. Save yourself the frustration and heartache. The only knock I would give this product is the instructions are pretty vague. Although to be fair, they probably have to be vague since it’s designed to be universal.
Great system, sinds installation I feel safer on the road due to the additional illumination. Fantastic improvement on visibility which greatly improved driving comfort in the dark. Above that the functionsbility of the unit is supurb. Flashing lights connected to the hazard gives me great comfort moving through heavy traffic.
I like the light kit and intensity of the lights. The dial dim is a cool feature that let's you get the right amount of light you need. My complaint is with mounting the dial dim switch. On my Transalp E clutch, the only area I had to mount it was where the bars start thier taper. I had to order longer screws because the only ones in the kit weren't nearly long enough. You need to supply a little more options on the kit to help mount this switch. It shouldn't be a problem, especially with the price of the complete kit being considered.
good lights; not as far visible as i was expecting, but still much better than the givi i had before; was considering d2, but glad went with d4; would really be nice if there was some security for these expensive pods ( like some extra security screw with a key, or something like an opening in the pod frame to put a lock on when away from a bike );
