Moto Guzzi V85 TT
There are a variety of big, torquey bikes on the market these days with off-road, go-anywhere looks, but few have the style of the Moto Guzzi V85 TT. Moto Guzzi knows a thing about adventure, having raced Paris-Dakar since the 1980s. Heck, they know a lot about building all sorts of bikes; the 2021 V85 TT Centenario celebrates Moto Guzzi’s 100 years of making motorcycles.
The Italians call it a classic enduro, and it certainly has classic good looks, but it is much more an adventure-touring rig than an enduro machine. Rigid skid plates are standard, and practically indestructible aluminum hard panniers are optional from your Moto Guzzi dealer.
For upgraded lighting for any adventure, DENALI has precisely what these bikes need. Start with a pair of high-powered, 4.5” round D7 LED lights with DataDim technology to light the way more than a quarter-mile ahead. These pods are small enough to easily mount anywhere, light to not ruin the handling, and come with stainless brackets and waterproof wiring and switches.
For fog and nasty weather riding, DENALI has amber lens floodlights to see through the thickest soup. The 4in square D4 pods flood the trail or road with nearly 9,000 lumens, spread over 175 feet wide. If you don’t need that much illumination, or you prefer the classic look of a round light pod, the DENALI DR1 is less than 4 inches around, but still lights up a substantial chunk of the road ahead. Nearly all of the DENALI auxiliary driving and fog light can be used with the DataDim dual intensity controller for plug and play wiring into the factory headlight dimmer switch.
DENALI has more than just LED spotlights and floodlights for your Moto Guzzi V85 TT Adventure or V85 TT Traveler. Add a compact DENALI SoundBomb air horn to blast that flock of sheep out of your path, or scare that dawdling carload of tourists into letting you by. DENALI also has the rugged Wireless Charging Phone Mount with CANsmart Connection, so you can see your navigation while you ride and charge.
Anything that helps other drivers see you and your bike will improve your safety on the road, even when there is no real road. DENALI has tough, easy to install, bright, and compact units for auxiliary turn signals, daytime running lights, auxiliary brake lights, and visibility lights.
For the rear, the T3 Modular Switchback Pods switch from red brake/tail light to amber turn signal automatically when you hit the switch. The front version of the T3 changes from white running lights to amber when you hit the blinker switch. White or amber DRL pods can be mounted to fork legs, fenders, or frame and make your bike stand out in traffic. The red B6 surface mount pod is just as tall as a license plate and lightweight enough to be mounted to the factory bracket.
But, if you don’t like the factory options, or the prospect of fabrication, DENALI has mounts for you. Aluminum articulating bar clamps mount to the forks and are sturdy enough to hold any DENALI pod.
Billet aluminum driving light mounts attach to nearly any M5, M6, or M8 bolts and come with an assortment of longer bolts to make that easy. Actual metal offset and fender mounting brackets hold DRL, T3, or B6 pods and mean you don’t have to drill any holes in your bike.
