The British born motorcycle company has been making bikes since the early 1900s. The latest batch of Triumph motorcycles are heavily influenced by Moto2, making them performance oriented monsters. One of these motorcycles is the revived Triumph Sprint, bringing a balance of performance and drivability.  

The 2021 Sprint  GT power plant is a liquid cooled 1050cc 3 cylinder making 128 horsepower and 80lb-ft of torque at just 6300 rpm. The throttle response is almost instant and the acceleration is nothing short of exciting. This is thanks to Moto2 engineering innovations giving Triumph’s whole line up a performance boost. The engine puts down the power to the rear wheel with a 6 speed transmission. The powertrain has a perfect balance of performance and rideability. 

The improvements don’t stop there, the 2021 Sprint RS features a lightweight aluminum frame. The Sprint GT moto2 inspiration continues in the suspension. In the front there are 43mm Showa adjustable forks and matching fully adjustable 152mm rear monoshock rear. Like most of their bikes, the Sprint offers fully adjustable front and rear suspension. Stopping the Triumph Sprint GT is 4 piston calipers in the front and 2 piston calipers in the rear. The modern ABS system works in the background, monitoring making slight changes making it almost unnoticeably in it’s interference. The Triumph Sprint GT strikes a middle ground of performance and daily driving capability.
