Yamaha Bolt
Yamaha Bolt – which outside the U.S. carries the less punchy name of XV950 – is one of those cruisers that you could mistake for a vintage motorcycle on a brief glance. But climb into the saddle and you’ll find it’s a modern powerhouse. The Bolt brings classic looks together with up-to-date performance in a happy marriage.
Its 942cc V-twin propels the Bolt’s stripped-down, double-cradle chassis down the street with steady power. While cruising along, the bike’s short 61.8-inch wheelbase and 41mm fork tube suspension make it precise and agile to handle. The 3.4-gallon fuel tank might sound small, but it gives you a range of more than 150 miles. In other words, the Bolt’s a great ride no matter the road you’re on.
But what really sets the Bolt apart from others of its kind is how readily customizable it is. Yamaha Bolt is a very popular bike among gearheads who like to tinker with their ride, and it has a whole slew of OEM and third-party accessories available. Is it any wonder, then, that we at DENALI wanted to get in on the fun as well with our auxiliary motorcycle lights?
The latest Bolt comes with LED lights as default, but DENALI still has plenty to offer for customizing your cruiser. Starting from the front, consider swapping the OEM headlight with the DENALI M7 DOT LED Headlight. It casts a bright beam through the darkness twice as far as a stock LED headlight, and installs quickly into the original headlight housing. It’s Halo DRL also provides you with passive visibility, and the styling is right at home on your Bolt.
For additional driving lights we have the D7 LED Light Pods. Their blacked-out styling blends in with the dark look of the Bolt, while their lenses dish out 15,000 lumens worth of illumination. The D7 features DENALI DataDim Technology, which lets you control the lights’ intensity with your OEM headlight switch.
Mounting the D7s is easy with our secure Articulating Bar Clamps, which feature a rotating mounting shelf that lets you angle the lights any way you wish. The Bolt has a nice mix of chrome and blacked-out details, which is why we make our clamps in either black or chrome to give you the option to go for whichever color you prefer.
Roads outside of cities can be dark, and that’s why you need plenty of visibility lighting. If the M7’s DRL halo isn’t enough, our DRL Visibility Pods will make you shine like a beacon. We also offer flush, offset, and fender mounts so you can get the DRLs right where you need them. And don’t forget the DENALI B6 Brake Light to make sure you’re also clearly noticeable to anyone trailing you.
As an incredibly loud cherry on top of it all, you can get the DENALI SoundBomb Horn. Its 120-decibel HONK let’s everyone know that the bike of bikes is coming through. The SoundBomb’s stylish, minimal design also practically disappears once installed, so you won’t be ruining your Bolt’s sleek looks.
