Yamaha XSR Lighting & Accessories
Yamaha XSR
Yamaha XSR bikes – both the XSR700 and XSR900 – are bikes with an interesting look, to say the least. We’re not saying they’re ugly by any means, it’s just hard to say what you’re looking at. Are they vintage-style motorcycles or something ultra-modern? Let’s just say they’re a bit of both. The manufacturer calls the style “neo-retro,” which seems appropriate. The XSR bikes blend modern technology with design cues from the past into a truly unique package. They might be based on Yamaha’s older MT platform, but these motorcycles come into their own in every way.
Both the XSR700 and XSR900 feature Yamaha’s Crossplane Crankshaft Concept engine, which provides predictable, linear torque for a smoother, more responsive riding experience. The sporty frame design, together with advanced rider aids, allows the bikes to be nimble and agile on any paved road. From the urban jungle to remote twisties, you can really enjoy your ride.
Of course, when you head away from city streets, you leave many modern amenities behind. That includes street lighting. But with the DENALI range of auxiliary motorcycle lights, you might as well have a lamp post strapped to the back of your XSR. Actually, scratch that, you’ll be much better illuminated.
Let’s start from the front, shall we? The round DENALI M7 headlight module slots into the XSR’s existing headlight housing and shines a beam twice as far as Yamaha’s stock LED light. It also features Halo DRL lights for extra visibility – and they look cool to boot.
To make sure that nothing ahead of you escapes your attention, strap our D7 Light Pods onto your bike. Their 15,000-lumen beam reaches 1,500 feet down the road and the featured DataDim technology allows you control the intensity of these LED driving lights with your original high beam switch. You can easily mount the pods with the DENALI Articulating Bar Clamps. Their octagonal inner profile grabs safely onto any tube and the rotating mounting shelf lets you angle the lights just how you need them.
The D2 Light Pods attach easily to your handlebar to provide bright spot lighting that turns when you twist the bars. And although the XSR bikes feature LED tail and brake lights, there’s certainly no harm in being more visible from the back. The DENALI B6 Brake Light can be mounted onto your license plate and its 180-degree viewing angle makes sure everyone trailing you knows when to pump the brakes.
All those lights will be pointless if you encounter someone driving with their eyes closed or glued to their smartphone, though. That’s when the 120-decibel DENALI SoundBomb Horn lets you remind them to keep their attention on the road. It’s a lot more fun riding unique bikes like the XSR700 and 900 when you know you’re doing it safely. We at DENALI want to make sure you can put your mind at ease and just enjoy the ride.
