Toyota Tundra Lighting & Accessories
Toyota was the first Japanese automaker to enter the full-size truck market in America. Their first attempt, the Toyota T-100, was a bit too small to compete with the popular trucks from Chevy and Ford. With the 2000 Toyota Tundra, however, Toyota went big.
The all-new, larger Toyota Tundra, screwed together at their plant in the U.S.A., brought an increase in sales too. With leather interior, car-like ride, and a V8 motor shared with their luxury division, the Tundra might be a cowboy Cadillac. A Japanese company may make the Texas-sized Tundra, but it has as much American content as any truck out there from Ram, Chevy, or Ford.
It would be a shame to take the Tundra off-road and get it dirty, but DENALI still has lights for it. Replace your factory fog lights with the DENALI DR1 fog/driving LED hybrid light for even more illumination in lousy weather.
Add some flush mount DRL LEDs under the rocker panel and wire them into the courtesy light circuit as "puddle lights." DRL lights mounted in the bed make loading and unloading easy after dark, even under a cap or a hard tonneau cover.
If you use your Tundra to tow, add a pair of tiny DM floodlights under the rear bumper, and you'll be delighted how easy it is to hitch up the trailer before sunrise or late in the evening.
Toyota didn't just make a luxury truck, though, because the Tundra TRD Pro is a top-spec factory off-road truck built to get muddy. Equipped from the factory with long travel piggyback Fox shocks, skidplates, BBS wheels, and aggressive all-terrain tires, this is a truck that won't stop just because the pavement does.
Toyota Tundra TRD Pro comes standard with LED light pod fog lights, but the DENALI S4 pods deliver even more. Configure them with the DataDim controller, and they will dip with the factory high beam switch. For a significant lighting upgrade, add D7 pods by the A-pillars or on a roof light bar, and blast through the darkness nearly a quarter-mile in front of you. For fog and rain driving, tiny D2 pods with amber lenses are amazing, and at less than 2.5" around, can be mounted out of the way anywhere.
Not every Tundra comes as fully loaded as the TRD. If you've got the lower trim level Tundra SR, Tundra SR5, or Tundra Limited, DENALI has LED lights to customize them to your needs.
